The Doctor of Philosophy Hooding Ceremony was held on May 11th, 2022, in NJIT Wellness and Events Center. One of our group members, Xiaonan Shi, was officially hooded on stage during the ceremony by one of her co-advisors, Prof. Wen Zhang. Xiaonan started her Ph.D. journey in Fall 2017 in the CEE department, NJIT, and graduated with her Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering this May. Her two co-advisors are Prof. Wen Zhang and Prof. Taha Marhaba. Xiaonan's doctoral research focused on "Understanding the Interfacial Processes of Reactive Nanobubbles toward Agricultural Applications." During her study in Prof. Zhang's group, Xiaonan has performed as the first author in four peer-review papers, co-author in ten published papers, and co-inventor in two patents. Her publications have resulted in 581 citations by May 12th, 2022, documented by Google Scholar. Congratulations, Xiaonan! We wish you all the best in your future!
