Welcome my new Ph.D. student, Jianan Gao, a recent graduate student from Qingdao Tech! He will join my group in fall 2020 and he is the second recipient in my group who received the prominent Provost Doctoral Assistantship from NJIT, which will financially support him for two academic years of graduate study. Xiaonan Shi, a third-year Ph.D. student in my group, was the first Environmental Engineering student awardee for the Provost Doctoral Assistantship back in June 2017.
Last year in August 2019, Shan Xue, a first-year Ph.D. student, received the Louis Berger International Scholar Award, which was established in 1997 through an endowment by the Berger family. The award supports for students for stipend, tuition and fees. Congratulations again. Jianan Gao, Shan Xue, and Xiaonan Shi, on the well-deserved awards!
